festival of cycling 2019
This year we are pleased to announce the Festival of Cycling which will take place over 2 days on the 26th & 27th January, 2019.
The festival will see riders take on Mountain Biking and Tour de Beautiful around the beautiful Central Hawke's Bay.
Along with the new courses and events, riders will have a chance to compete for prize money and as well as spot prizes throughout the weekend.
Parking for the Mountain Bike will be at Russell Park, please follow the signs. Parking for the Tour De Beautiful will be at CHB College.
You can pick up your registration packs the morning of the events and Saturday afternoon at CHB College for the Tour De Beautiful.
THIS YEAR WE HAVE A TOUGH GIRL AND GUY CHALLENGE WHERE YOU CAN TAKE ON THE LONG COURSE IN BOTH THE MOUNTAIN BIKE AND TOUR DE BEAUTIFUL.

BAY MOTORCYCLE MOUNTAIN BIKE
Riders will take on a new mountain bike course designed especially for this weekend. Starting and finishing in Russell Park, riders will navigate along Waipukurau’s river before entering our new Mountain bike park.
The race will begin in Russell Park

Course - 40km: Open 18+, Over 40 Men & Women,
Senior Kids 13-17
Short
Course - 20km: Open 18+ ,Over 40 Men and Women,
Junior Kids 8-13, Senior Kids 13-17
Kids
Course (Under 7’s) - 7km

Start from CHB College Svenson Rd Waipukurau - parking available off Svenson Road College in grounds. There will be a neutralised start for each race, please check your maps.
