Next Race Saturday 24th July Cycle Race (Low Key Handicap race over approx. 50km course)

Start Location: Waipukurau Racecourse

Registrations: On day from 1:30pm Race start 1:45pm for first handicap riders Pre Registration with Ross Pepper is an option as up to 45min handicap is planned for scratch riders over the Go group

So you think you are a cyclist?Do you remember when men where men and women where proud of it?Ladies do you want to show the men who really has the cycling balls? 

Central Hawke’s Bay has its own version of the ‘Paris Roubaeux 16km of gravel.’ All you need is heavy tyres on your road bike as the gravel is mostly smooth.

 Entry Fee is $10.00 per riderAs this is a Handicap race there will be NO LATE ENTRIES Entries close Monday 2^nd August 2010 Prize

 The course will start and finish at CHB CollegeRegistration for Race Numbers 1.30pm, Race Starts 2.00pm LIMIT RIDERS 

START Out Farm Road Right into Middleton Road 4.8km, Left onto Porangahau Road 12.7km, Out Porangahau, past Wanstead Hotel Take First left after pub, Hiranui Road 22.2km Over one lane bridge onto GRAVEL climbing for 2.8km At 3.1km back onto seal and descend 3.6kmBack onto GRAVEL At 6.8km left hand turn into Te Awa Road (Don’t go straight ahead)Seal on descent 7.8 to 8.2kmGRAVEL starts again until 15.8kmThen seal until 16.1km GRAVEL ends at 16.8km Turn left onto Farm Road 40.2km Right hand bend still on Farm Road at 49.9kmFINISH on Tavistock Road at 56.7km outside Church.
